Update on 28 Day Challenge
It’s officially half way through my 28 day challenge. I have been fighting the urge to weigh myself for the last several days, but finally did and low and behold….down 8 pounds. I think that’s pretty good considering the changes that I’ve made have all been fairly small ones. Goes to show that several little things can make a difference. It’s funny, the hardest thing for me to do over the last 14 days wasn’t the eating better or physical activity. It was actually having the willpower NOT to weigh myself. Often times, when I start new eating habits or activity, I start jumping on the scale regularly. Sure enough I never see the results I want and get discouraged quickly. Basically, sabotaging myself. But, for some reason knowing that I have this schedule has helped. I decided in the beginning, I’d check my weight half way through, then again the final day; and that has really helped. Wish me luck on my next 14 and I’ll keep everyone updated.
28 Day Challenge
I recently started a personal journey to improve my life in a variety of ways. Including, but not limited to my weight, my fashion, my beauty routines, etc. I have always started out trying to loose weight by jumping into whatever diet fad was popular at the time, and honestly nothing ever really proved productive with long lasting results. So I have decided to start small. I am simply going to adhere to several very small goals for 28 days. If I can prove to myself that I can make significant changes in 28 days, then I know I can do them longer. I understand some of my goals may seem ridiculous to some, but ultimately they are geared to make me feel better about myself. I will be checking in frequently with my progress and will post results as they happen.
